The Role:
An administrative assistant role which will provide support to a high performing team of four Assistants within Infracapital. The role will include undertaking general administrative tasks such as processing expenses for the wider Infracapital team, liaising across multiple departments within M&G such as IT, assisting with making travel arrangements for the team and providing holiday and sickness cover within the PA team.
The role will provide an excellent opportunity for the individual to gain valuable experience within investment management in a rapidly growing, fast-paced organisation.
Key Work Level Accountabilities:
Colleague:
  • Accountable for delivering a quality service and product to customers and stakeholders
  • Focuses on quality of delivery to achieve clear outputs within guidelines and precedent
  • Runs the organisation's processes and systems following pre-defined procedures
  • Adapts to change, responds with initiative and make suggestions for improvements to own work and processes
Key Responsibilities for this role:
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G’s operational risk.
  • General administration including submitting expenses and invoices for the team
  • Liaising with IT and other internal departments within M&G
  • Assisting with events organisation where required which may include the Christmas Party, offsites and wider team social events.
  • Assisting with the booking of travel for the team when needed
  • Printing and binding for external meetings
  • Collating meeting packs and compliance documents
  • Processing system access requests for team members
  • Coordinating on-boarding for new joiners
  • Providing cover for PA’s when on leave
  • General office upkeep
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • An enthusiastic, hardworking and can-do attitude.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and ability to use initiative.
  • Highly organised and methodical manner.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong inter-personal skills and flexibility.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Microsoft office proficiency: intermediate level or above.
